As a family, we really enjoy our dogs, and it's so easy to integrate them into our daily activities. We take them camping, to the beach, to athletic events, and everywhere we go, they're an attention getter! People seem to be fascinated by the breed, and want to know more.

When I'm not "doing dogs", I work as a gluten free coach/consultant to individuals and restaurants, as well as part-time for a fantastic human resources consulting firm. In addition to my interests in breeding labradoodles, I serve on the Board of Directors for the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation and volunteer at our church. Anna and I are also members of the National Charity League.

My husband, Dave, works as vice president of a company in the construction industry. His working hours start early, so he's often home early enough in the afternoon to head out with the dogs for a long walk in our hilly neighborhood. He coaches girls' soccer (and is retired after 10 years of coaching baseball, softball and football) and serves as board chairman of Nursing Home Ministries, an organization cofounded by his father.

Our son, Reid, is a junior at LOHS, and is a natural athlete and history buff. He plays football and golf, but says that his goal is to get a tennis scholarship to a Division 1 college. He throws the ball to the dogs for hours while he watches the Tennis Channel, but doesn't really care for cleaning up after puppies!

Anna Louise, our 8th grader, is my bona fide business partner. She has an affinity for animals, and is very hands on with the puppies, from whelping to socializing. She even loans herself out to help other breeders whelp their litters. Anna plays soccer, loves to ski, and is an active fundraiser for the JDRF. Her greatest passion is singing, and expecially opera. This year, she sang with Portland Opera, Portland State University opera, Portland Summerfest's production of Carmen, Oregon Catholic Press, Northwest Childrens Theatre, and at Mt. Park Church. She hopes to make opera her career.

Pippin is our non-breeding, F1B labradoodle boy- he's a snuggler and an avid ball player. He plays tetherball and frisbee, and seems to have boundless energy. He's so fun to watch as he runs- he seems to glide over the ground. Pippin is Paisley's brother and is a great uncle and socialization manager for our puppies.
